How is it to work at Apple? I rarely see anything about it... Got a loop in the Siri platform team.
My experience was great. If there is one company I would like to go back to is Apple. My experience was they really take good care of employees.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The man I love hates me because I’m Vietnamese
There’s no one answer to your question. Apple is a huge company with many different teams. Therefore there is such a wide range of experiences within different teams at Apple. So your question is so broad as to make the answers completely subjective and ultimately useless. As far as the team I’m on (AppleCare-Training and Development), I love it. The workload can be heavy and the hours long, especially around product releases. But there are also times when the load is lighter, and work-life balance shifts more toward the “life” side. I’m blessed to be on a team of high performers who are all committed to doing a good job and all believe that the work we do is important. We collaborate, share ideas, help each other out, work hard in the trenches, and take pride in the quality of our work. We have a manager who rose through the ranks, so he knows what our challenges are, and he understands how to support us best — doesn’t micromanage, trusts his people, gives direction then stays out of our way to allow us to execute to a high standard. So if you ask me how it is to work at Apple, my answer would be: great. But spend 15 minutes reading this site, and you will see a lot of people with a very different experience. Complaints, whining, external locus of control issues. Perhaps some of them have legitimate gripes. But I believe that each of us has a lot of influence over the quality of our work situation. Good luck to you!
