Do the needful and revert back to me.
Mine is 1.5c round cut surrounded by a halo of small .25cs. I picked it out. 5 years and I still love it. Try blue nile for conflict free.
Noob question -What's blue Nile?
Diamond seller. Not really any guarantee about conflict free.

Was so happy when my now-wife asked me not to get her one. I don’t like the idea of doing things simply because Disney/romcoms/De Beers want me to.
Glad it worked out for you. Only a small percentage of women who say this in the end actually mean it, to no fault of their own but realization when the time actually comes
That’s pretty sad but not surprising. I like a woman who can rise above societal expectations and who seizes the opportunity to redefine what it is to be a woman. My wife is a CEO woman of color, and I have never been more in awe of another human being. And the diamond conversation? In exchange for a big diamond she said no thanks and asked for my fidelity, trust, and respect instead. What a woman.
Intricate gold Indian design with fake/synthetic diamonds. Looks fabulous, cost $300. We both agreed we'd rather celebrate Indian jewellery-making skills than hand off money to diamond mafia.
Lab created diamonds only have a 30% discount on the real thing. How did you get yours for $300?
Check out https://mshop.tanishq.co.in/shop-online/jewellery/finger_ring?cm_sp=Diwali-_-Tiles-_-Fingerring jewellery in India is an entirely different ball game from the c*ap here. We laugh when we see Western stores selling for thousands of dollars designs that would be too basic for even our household help to wear
When I was proposed to, it was with a ring he found in the rocks by the ocean and a flower from the forest :D
You must be special
Thanks. But that relationship didn't last. An expensive marriage proposal feels to me like someone is buying my commitment. Pretty much not what I'd like. I prefer a celebration after the fact.
Total weight is 1 carat. I chose my ring out myself and I still find it very beautiful, but I wish I’d read more about the diamond industry before making the purchase. Had I known what I now know I don’t think I would have ever purchased this ring. This is the first and last diamond I’ll buy.
What would you buy if you had a chance to go back and make that decision again with your current knowledge?
Told my future wife everything I knew about how DeBeers created the culture around diamonds. She decided she wanted to not have one at all.
