Maybe people can tell by the name I've chosen, but I've a bit of an interest in communism and various flavors of socialism. I've spent countless hours reading Marx, Engels, Lenin, Mao, Luxemburg, Berkman, Goldman, etc. But boy was I wrong about communism. I've finally learned the important parts about communism and socialism from Americans. Here they are - - Socialism is when the government does stuff. Until it does a real lot of stuff, then you've communism. This statement is treated as a meme, but it's completely true. - Communism is when a private company exercises the massive powers of control that it has, over the government. Or parts of the government. And no, this doesn't conflict at all with the previous statement, if you think so, you're just a dummy. Man, all those books were just a waste of time. This was so simple. But at least I know the truth now. Thank you American conservatives! Really appreciate the education.
Your arguments reminds me of a talk - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtH7DmknEFY
I agree it's stupid to call something communism when it's more resemblant of an oligarchy.
I think it's a uniquely American phenomenon due to the cold war and a rising China in the present day. The political leaders know that they can use the threat of communism embedded in the American psyche to rile them up by equating stuff with communism.
Sure it's not classical communism, but what we see right now is pretty similar to "communism with Chinese characteristics".
Can you give me an example of a Chinese company banning Xi's speech?
"socialism with chinese characteristics" refers to using market reforms in order to build the productive forces within the country and enable eventual communism. Sorry but I don't see how this has anything to do with a social media company banning the leader of the country. This is pretty much analogous to the market reforms that many other countries have gone through. Albeit with more government control than usual.
Youโve forgot about guns: communists will take away your guns
Oh that will come soon enough. Silicon valley hates guns already. Doesn't seem like a stretch to say that NRA is "inciting violence". Then you just delist them from Google search results and Google Maps, ez pz.
Lmaooo. So sad people actually think like that
