eBay MTS1 Offer Evaluation -Austin
Hello, I've received a verbal offer for an MTS1 position with eBay for Austin area and recruiter shared the initial compensation numbers. Base: $155K RSU: $80K vested over 4 years (20K per year) Bonus: 10% (varies by employee & company performance) Sign on bonus: $20K YOE: 6 I want to understand are these number really low? How big can I ask for base and RSU and sign on bonus? Any room for negotiation? I'm evaluating whether these figures are competitive and HOW MUCH ROOM there might be for negotiation for the Base, RSU, and sign-on bonus? #ebay #tech

Not sure about the leveling equivalent to Blue Nile. But I think levels.fyi gives some idea about it. In eBay MTS1 is above SE3 If Oracle MTS1 is the entry level

I heard even the new grad got the sign on higher than mine.
That was during heights of pandemic and most likely for San Jose

Seems a little low. I started as MTS 1 about 6 months ago my base, rsu and sign on were higher. This was before the layoffs ofc
RSU numbers are super low! Should be above 120k.
