What level? There are 6 levels of SDE at Amazon. SDE1-3, PE, SrPE, DE. At the higher end you’d be clearing seven figures.

That's what they share and call it as average. But there are people make much more. I am from security team who pentested the HR systems. I know for sure 175k is not the upper cap.
Ignore all the crap people wrote above. Hiring manager in the Bay are here. The base salary is capped at 185k. Total can go way way up. With examples of L5 making >300 What level are you talking about?

Salary figures gets outdated. It’s moronic to ask everyone to search. That will only bring old data or data you pray that others will enter alright but you won’t.
