What is the best place to rent if I will work at Google? Need 1 bedroom/small place. Need something cost/commute effective.

It depends on your budget but anywhere along the DART or the green line LUAS is fine. I haven't lived in US but the rents in Dublin are super crazy these days. In compare to other European cities. If I were you, I would have tried to go to Germany/Switzerland/UK. Don't come here if you have other options. Can you share with us your Google offer?
