Asking for numbers in the tinder generation

A lot of my guy friends have said they would never ask a for a girls number from a UBER pool. If the conversation was going well, would you?

Yeah if you're hitting it off. Otherwise it comes across as peak thirst at best and straight up creepy at worst.

Be careful, you might end up as the subject of a viral Medium post.

You better have some strong signals tho.

(Just going to use blind as my dating advice). - I was in a UBER and the guys invited me out (they were going to a bar near my drop off point), I said yeah maybe. Continued to talk about how it was hard to meet people in our city and how dating apps suck. At the end of the ride we got out and went our separate ways, no numbers exchanged.

Lol. He invited you to hangout. Maybe he would have asked your number if you would hv gone. Asking for a number from total stranger is creepy

I think it’s hard to tell when people are being genuine in an invite after they’ve met you in a UBER for 10 minutes. Like “oh we’re going to x bar for this event, you should come” I think it’s awkward on the other end to “accept” and also go say no, so you end up saying yeah maybe! Which isn’t a strong signal either way.

Don't ask for a number. Ask if she might be interested in going out at some point and give her your business card (yeah, these are still useful for situations like that)

Microsoft Specific Jun 9, 2019

Business cards make it into professional networking, and send the wrong message if you're looking to date. Give her your number and leave the the ball in her court.

Marqeta lil_zucky2 Jun 9, 2019

But what if you're trying to play some kinda 8D multi-variable Parcheesi with the business card and be like "yo bby i respecc wamen so I'll give u my car because u seem like a strong independent professional but i still got needs u feel me"

Microsoft Specific Jun 9, 2019

If she's working on driving the conversation with you, maybe. If you're the one keeping it going, absolutely not.

Only if conversation is going really really well
