I applied for University grad 2020 software developer position at Google Singapore. Got a mail from them for the Online Challenge. But now due to some circumstances I can't give the coding test. I mean i can but i prefer not to. I'm planning to apply again since the hiring goes on throughout the year as far as i know (please correct me if I'm wrong). Does, not giving the test now would imply that I'll be in lock down period of 1 year (I've heard people can't apply to google again for one year once they are rejected) ?
Then raise a help ticket man. Problem is you are TELLING them. If u can’t do it you can’t do it but you gave them a heads up. Problem with young people is they are not decisive in action. Just do the damn thing instead of carefully crafting a post to ask random internet people who can’t decide for you.
That's helpful thanks. PS - You're right i'm highly indecisive.
I have seen Google Hr being professional and flexible. Call them or write to them stating u need to reschedule. Just don’t say , u want to “cancel” it.
Ask your recruiter
I would but the deadline is till tomorrow evening so it might be that they don't see my mail.
No one in here is going to be able to answer your question. You need to coordinate with your recruiter and the sooner you reach out to them the more likely they see your email. Do they not include a cell number to reach them?
