Cisco Salary for Grade 10
I recently got an offer from Cisco Systems for grade 10 Software Development Engineer. I will be talking to the recruiter next week and need to have some numbers in mind. I am wondering what should be the tc? Anyone who recently joined or has current numbers? Total work experience >6yrs.
INSBU is high paying BU within Cisco. You should get at least 150K base + 15% annual bonus along with RSU's vested over 4 years
For G10?
Ask for at least 165k base and 80k rsus and insieme pays high.
Yes. Again there is range/ band for each grade. Generally when an individual is hired , manager tries to keep enough room so that an individual can be given 3-4% hike for couple of next years until when he can be promoted to next grade.
Whats the range for RSU?
Range is very wide for RSU's and solely depends on how much you are important for team and buisness. There is no strict standard as to how much you should get.
As for 150 base and 15% bonus is fixed for grade 10 I am not sure how many rsu they offer It’s varies between offers
Aim for $160k to 165K base, $80k to $100k RSU over 4 years, $20k to $30k sign on bonus, annual bonus of 15% is not negotiable. $210k to $220k TC should be doable.
Yeah that’s not happening. I personally know a couple of g10’s at Cisco making 150k tc with 6 yoe.
I know of a few recent hires making $200k+ TC. There is a difference between new hires and the rest of us.
Location does as well... If your in the bay area then those numbers look to be correct ... Outside of the bay noo
In Bay Area I know G10’s highest range is 165K ( at least as of last year) . 15% is standard target bonus. RSUs depends on BU but 75-80k usually. Sign up bonus 10-30k depends on BU I am guessing
Depends on which BU you are joining. G10 salary across BU differs.
Its in the Insieme BU. Any idea how they pay?
