How should I feel about the following non-SWE (IC6) offer in Menlo Park: $200k/20% annual bonus/$200k in stock over four years My hunch is that there is significant negotiating room on the stock; from what HR says, $200k is the top of the IC6 salary range. Any familiarity with this from anyone out there?
What’s is “IC6”?
From what I understand, IC is the non-SWE payscale -- this is a level 6
The stocks are different for different tracks. PM, PMM, DE, etc all are different
What role is this for?
Is this for Solutions Engineer role? If yes, then your offer looks standard except your RSUs could go up to 300k. Non-engg roles have RSUs typically 1/3rd to that of SWE roles.
Looks standard offer. May be able to push rsu slightly but not by a whole lot
How does IC at fb maps to E on levels.fyi? E6 number there is much higher
Would you mind telling us more about which kind of non SWE role we are looking at? If HR, yeah that sounds in the right range, if PM, this is the low end of the spectrum.
This is for a Business/Corporate Development role.
Is this for a HW engineer role ?
No, Business/Corporate Development role
You must either be non-SWE or trolling
Yes, non-SWE
