It seems that finally I might have a chance to do an internal transfer to the US. However many indicators seem to point to an impending recession. I'm not thrilled about losing my job on a L1 visa and having to leave the country in a rush. The internal job portal seems healthy enough, with about the same number of job openings. How do things feel over there? Did you notice any slow down? Business as usual?
I was going to say the same but opted to not troll. Part of me says stay away we don't need any more foreigners... Lol
It's better to have educated foreigners than to have uneducated useless people who vote on things that could cause recessions and destroy countries. Just my two cents.
Job market is hot. Do the calcs if you can afford housing, it is still the best place in the world for tech.
How much would you recommend for a couple, no kids?
