How soon for team transfer at Amazon
I’m an L4 sde at amazon starting soon and i hate my team. How soon can i transfer off of it? I got lied to by the recruiters and they put me on a shit team.

Ive got friends on the team who left months ago and warned me to leave too. Its a legacy team. Just answer the question.

You can transfer at any point but most likely with a small tenure and for such a junior person a manager which question your motives and performance and want to talk to current team / manager. And if their feedback is not good they can decide not to go for you. Specially right now so many new hires start

I transferred 5 months after joining at L4 SDE. Transfer process started in 3.5 months (interviews etc.). It also depends on whether or not another team is interested in you. With your attitude ("just answer the question") I recommend you fuck off.
Basically, HR won’t say anything if you transfer to new team six months after you joined you current team. However, the specific timeline for your transfer also depend on how long for you to find a new team that give you offer and your current manager ‘s agreement with New manager on how long you can leave the team.
Do current managers typically have an agreement like that?? Why?
