Jet vs Walmart US vs Walmart International
I’m having some initial conversations with several different groups within Walmart - Jet, Walmart US, and Walmart for UK & Mexico. Are there major differences in culture, prospects, growth potential, technical strength among these orgs? From what I’ve gathered they’re each run separately with different SVPs - is that correct? Thanks.
Jet teams no longer exist. All teams are being merged with Walmart, only Jet brand exists superficially, not teams. And shutting down jet band is also a matter of time. so there is no difference between jet and Walmart. Whatever crappy culture, tech stack or talent u have at Walmart u now have at jet as well.
Not exactly accurate. Certain teams like the pricing team and customer facing UI teams are being shuttered. Other teams like inventory and category management are going the other way. Jet tech is being used where the app is better. The jet brand is becoming a category within Walmart. In the long run tho all of Jet will eventually vanish due to attrition.
What is the best way to apply for a job opening at Walmart? Had no luck applying online.

They’re all walmart. Yes they’re all different largely by location of office. Jet is in NJ for example.
