Limits of no compete?
I have a friend who was fired from Amazon. I quit a few weeks later and signed a no compete. Am I able to recruit him at my new job or no?
Do you really think amazon will pursue it ? In practice I have only seen them pursuing like VPs and sometimes sales people

If your friend was fired and didnβt sign away their rights for severance, the noncompete is unenforceable, even in Washington state. If they can collect unemployment, the noncompete is not enforceable.
He should review his document by a lawyer.

Your concern of hiring former coworker sounds like a non solicit, not a non compete. Read your contract.
