Which city would you say has the best environment for an early stage startup? To me, it seems like both Seattle and Denver/Boulder have amazing access to nature and the outdoors. Austin seems to have terrible access, but makes up for it by being a really cheap place to live. The Denver/Boulder area is also getting expensive. It looks like funding is equally available in all areas? Not certain about this..
Texas
Austin seems super nice
Denver....Austin is super overcrowded
Lol. Barely a million pop with room to expand in every direction = "overcrowded"? Where are you from, Oklahoma?
I would also consider figuring out existing startups that do similar things.
Seattle has Amazon and MS HQs, and huge FB and G campuses. So you could access more talent there, which is the most crucial thing for any startup.
Not many of those people are willing to work for the amount that a seed stage startup can pay, unfortunately
Austin price wise may be marginally better than Denver. True our outdoors can’t compete with either pnw or colorado. Austin is mostly b 2 b. But many big software co’s have announced expansion plans.
Austin is a cool city but tech talent won't be as good as Seattle. Even though the big companies have offices there, they are mostly sales, support, or 2nd string eng
Lubbock!
Not sure what that is
Look it up! It's a place in Texas
Pretty right on. Denver weather better than Seattle if you’re OK with the cold months.
