I came home at 9:45pm from a work holiday function and find that the toddler still isn't asleep. Husband is in a terrible mood. I don't want to listen to his b*tching and moaning about a situation he causes himself, by being not good at parenting. Like, be better at this shit. I'm also tired of him being jealous that I work at Google and make way more money. And because I can't stand his whiny attitude, I avoid him in the evenings and go to bed early. Which then hurts his feelings and makes him more whiny. Which makes me even less likely to want to be around him, let alone get intimate. How do you break the cycle and start loving someone again? so sad to read. Go on a trip alone for a few days and see if separation can help.
Have a conversation with him and tell him exactly what you said here. However make sure you're tactful. Read about the "four horseman of a bad relationship" and make sure you avoid those. Criticize actions not person, don't have contempt etc
He must be reading this!. đ€
Get him to therapy. There are some deep issues at play here.
What does he do?
Non-tech design related field.
Why is he jealous? Once you're married, you're a team. Sorry but your husband is acting like a sissy. Consider taking a couple of days off and travelling.
He sounds like he needs to learn to be a man.
Kids get older. Have less immediate needs. You care less about stuff like this. That may open new pathways of communication or cement you donât belong together. 50/50.
Huh? Are you calling me a troll? I'm not following
No, theyâre just introducing themselves.
