It advantages specialists, which is why you see trade unions pushing for it, and it can edge out underdog competitors, creating more monopolies. It increases spending money, which inflates prices, increasing cost of living, thereby putting unemployed folks in even further debt. If you are at all liberally or progressively inclined, you should conversely be against minimum wage.
You should study history and read why minimum wage was implemented in the first place.
WELL if wages kept up with inflation they would probably be well over 15$ an hour. We don't need a minimum wage we need a LIVING wage.
