No one, I have not seen a single product that makes me want to use AR. All the demos are about playing some game on the coffee table...I would rather play in my phone man !

The one to win AR would be the one to invest in porn. It will be the next big thing.

Whoever can develop socially acceptable wearable glasses. Until I can seemlessly overlay AR with the real world and not have to be staring at a screen to do so, it will always be nothing more than a cool novelty that isn’t terribly useful.

FB. They have the tech, the platform and the talent. 2B people are waiting.

Snap is definitely innovative. Is the morale still good after recent events? Serious q.

Oh yeah, we work really hard thanks to Instagram stealing stuff and even more with fb blatantly taking bitmoji and renaming it avatar

Avatar is much more than bitmoji...

Instagram may have stolen stuff but I prefer their execution more. Snapchat recent UI change has seen me using less Snapchat now. The font selection is straight up cringy... It's just my opinion. If you feel proud of your work, then by all means continue.

I would go for apple and Google.
Facebook is betting on VR over AR
Microsoft is unfortunately not good at consumer products. They will keep getting great tech in clunky , unusable packages.
Valve is also mostly vested in VR, even though they seem to be touching AR with the Vive Pro.
Magic Leap has not left the Vaporware arena yet.
If Google wins the solution is more than likely going to be powered by one or more Qualcomm chips , but Qualcomm itself won't win the race.

In the consumer space, It will be one of the content consumption companies like G/FB. Tech itself is not defensive enough by any company. They need user base and content. That's FB/G. In enterprise, I don't see a reason why msft cannot win.

I work in the field of AR and I agree with one of the earlier comments; I haven’t seen much useful things using AR yet. Tech wise Hololens is good; actually Snap is putting in decent effort too. ARKit, ARCore (from Apple, Google) are still basic APIs primarily used for gaming.

If it was going to be big, Amazon woulda been first to market two years ago.
