just a warning to everyone out there going through the job hunt process. this company blows and has some of the least professional recruiters and airhead engineers. very hipster/sjw vibe and have the attitude of a FAANG when nobody knows who they are. the recruiters have ghosted 3 people i know and their takehome is arduous even though their comp sucks. youll have to design a 3 tier web app with a genome dataset. they have a 51% negative experience on glassdoor. nuff said.

That’s true. When I talked to the recruiters from Amazon, they told me I need to have level 63 at Microsoft in order to get an L5 at Amazon. Is it BS?
They contacted me too. I had 3 behavioral interviews and last one I didn't pass
What did they ask you?
Typical, i introduce you. You introduce me yourself. They ask you questions about your introduction you ask them about their introduction. end of interview. I have done the same thing 3 times over and over again and at the end they rejected me
I just interviewed with them and actually was positive. For their devops position. What were you there for??? I heard about high turnover? But it seems chill when i took the tour and their interview process wasnt difficult
Old post but thanks for this. I heard from their rather aggressive recruiter recently.
Yeah I recently had the same experience,I went through the onsite and the recruiter told me that the hiring, product managers liked you as well as you scored good on system design but we will need to take an additional coding round. The product manager straight out told me that this company is not a good place to work lol. After giving the additional coding round, they rejected me stating that I don't know much about how backend apis work lol.
I went through their loop and liked everything...the comp came back super low though
What position did you interview for? Btw I def got the vibe that their culture doesn’t give af about the SWE’s and the bioinformatics/bio people are the rockstars.
yeh, I got that vibe a little...I was SWE in Data; close to their business side of things
