Pluses/minuses on working in retail/ Best Buy?

Any thoughts on plus/minus for working for a retail company? Have an offer at BestBuy Health in design. There was a lot of “pat each other on the back” culture at blue cross for subpar work, and don’t want to be in same situation again. Are there high performers there? Is retail domain expertise valued in tech? #retail #tech #health
