Hello, I have been working in Identity Access Management for a while now. Started my career as a business analyst and now have been a Sailpoint consultant/developer for a few years. I do have a full time job so not really worried about job security in this field but when I have to look for another position would this be a problem? Do you guys think SailPoint is a dying technology?
SP is really going anywhere. There on-prem solution is going to be like Oracle IAM. They might not sell it anymore, but consultants get paid out the ass to maintain it. Their SaaS solution is only growing, and has a far better financial model than their on-prem licensing model does.
Why do we need sailpoint and azure abs aws does IAM pretty well
