From starting new grad at 250k, how many years until you can make 1 mil/year as an IC?
However long it takes you to get promoted to VP/Partner/Director/CEO
Probably most of them wont even make it unless its a company worth tens of billions.
Which for most is never
1 mil nominal dollar? Let's assume that in like 6 years you get to 500. If it just grows by 3% inflation every year in year 30 your TC will be 1mil.
Ha, you read my mind
It's possible to get 500k/year now, at the higher end. Wait 35 years at 2% inflation and you're there!
More relevant question would be how long to reach 7 figure net worth. A lot more data points for that.
New Grad 250? What are you smoking?
Leetcode infused tobacco
Probably includes signing. If so very doable
This question shows your juniority
Thats E7-E8 range, and one can get there in under 10 years. Got to be brilliant, though. Otherwise - never.
Probably never. Everyone thinks they are a fucking genius
Starting new grad 250k? I definitely get low balled when I joined Google.
