A few things I've learned not to do, by observing the CEO

During the company’s annual user-conference postmortem, don't say that “prospects who come to [the conference] are losers.” Don't characterize “the best corporate culture that I’ve ever worked in” as a “brash” culture, and explain that “we’d make large statements to the marketplace that would receive a lot of press and attention, which we’d occasionally actually make good on.” Don't tell new employees during first-week onboarding that “our customers are stupid,” while mocking the customers with a voice that mimics a speech impediment. Don't commit character assassination of a job candidate favored by everyone else on the team by stating that she is likely an alcoholic and unstable, without any supporting evidence or any indication in the candidate’s behavior that this could be the case. When engaged in a dispute with a hotel over a personal, family-related matter, don't use a corporate email account and CEO signature to send a message threatening to move the company’s annual conference to a different venue. Also, don't involve a new employee in this personal issue. Don't tell the executive team about my dissatisfaction with a meeting I had with a female representative of a potential customer, and suggest that “we should hit her with a baseball bat, maybe on the knees.”

This person sounds dysfunctional. Probably not healthy to be around and your feelings on this are completely normal and expected... damn what a situation. Hope I’ll never work with them.

Unless OP is the sensationalist type that always looks to hype up their misery and show off what a poor victim of injustice they are. You know such people exist.

I heard that they’re really bad. All of them seem to be looking for FANG referrals too?
