AWS Solutions Architect

Just looking to get some insight from AWS SA’s. I applied and passed on the first recruiter for a couple of reasons. Applied to a different role... still waiting. Curious as to your experience prior to Amazon, YOE, background etc. I’ve been consulting for 20+ years. Networking focused but general systems, server, storage, virtualization, security (infrastructure guy) etc. Been a co-founder in a small consulting company for about 18yrs but been a declining few years and we’re all parting ways. Trying to decide if to go again on my own or maybe become an SA for AWS. 20 YOE TC last year 90 but previously as much as 290 NoVA Too many Cisco certs to count, AWS SA Pro & Net Spec; Palo certs; VMWare cert #solutionsarchitect #sa #aws #amazon #amazonaws
