Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
I have been seeing news about Adobe ranking #1 company with happiest employees, but I DONT think it applies for the Professional Services organization. May be creative could really has the most happiest employees. Every project manager that I had come across so far, is a micro manager, to a point where it’s annoying. The deadlines are taxing, there’s meetings all day everyday, no time to do the actual work. You are not asked to work over time, but you any way end up working overtime because if the deadlines. Meetings are scheduled even when it’s a holiday, because we need to “accommodate“ client expectations. I want to switch to a different project, but there has been issues with every account that I have been on (could be the client being demanding, issues with the team itself). Honestly, I haven’t been happy since I have been here. Client treats you like a nobody, and we are expected to work that way??!! Does switching to product help?? Adobe employees, please help! Yeah and Cisco is number 1 place to work and amazon 🌎 number 1 employer
Amazon only strives' to be #1 employer:)
@MongoDB can you help me SWE prep for MongoDB ?
Amazon has the same problem. Idk the fix for this. Im leaving amazon for the exact reasons you pointed out
What’s you role?
Where are you going?
You know companies just pay to get on those lists right?
Amazon has more money than God… and can’t get on that list
Amazon’s core value is frugality. They wouldn’t waste money on that kind of crap.
Adobe has zero accountability of managers. Some managers there have way too much power & they misuse it like anything. I believe only DMe & Creative cloud orgs are good. Some orgs like DX are a shit show. DX doesn't even have Wlb nor good appraisals
Can you please say what is DM and DX org? DM=Document management?
DMe = Digital media, DX = Digital Experience
Their products suck (Excluding Creative Software), and their customer service is abysmal; nothing to be proud of here. If you want to actually get anything done by Adobe, be a large company and threaten to cancel your contract; the hours/days/weeks/months of passing the buck will suddenly stop.
Stopped at “their products suck”
Have you ever had to work in Adobe Experience Manager? I promise you that it is a freaking dumpster fire.
They probably paid to get this title. They are the master of unfair practices. I worked there for 2 years. Highly political, corrupt, and buy and large mostly low bar talent. They used to have stock that was doing well so that made it more tolerable. I don’t know who’d stay there now with stock that has lost 40% of its peak value. Not to mention the stock goes down daily and consistently underperforms the market
So like every tech stock?
Not all tech stocks have lost 40% of their value. There are some that have performed this poorly, Adobe being one.
Did you just say creative cloud has happy employee?. Really?? Don't even make a mistake to come to creative cloud. It's even worst in here. I work in one of creative cloud org and it's pathetic here.
Can u provide more context?
What context?.. Was I not clear enough?
It is same everywhere my friend. I am part of creative cloud and I am saying this with my experience.
This ^
Common DOC CLOUD people, you know this is big lie
Move to DMe, thats where the happy people are
1000%
What’s DMe?
