Refreshers do happen but are determined yearly based on performance. Or so I hear. We have to ask someone at affirm how true that is
There’s performance equity grants, refresher equity grants, and promotion equity grants Performance equity grant: 30% of new hire grant range, 4 year vest, eligible annually and based on performance, can stack year over year - you could have 3 performance equity grants by year 4 Refresh equity grant: 50% of new hire grant range, eligible every 2 years Promotion equity grant: 30% of new hire grant range (using the range being promoted into), eligible upon promotion

Strong offer IMO. Congrats! Affirm stock has been OK I guess (went up quite a bit and came down a bit as well). Not sure about work culture etc Can you share more about your experience - do you manage a team at your current job? Is it a speciality role?
I manage international fraud products for all the hotel brands and have two pm’s under me currently. Effectively this role at affirm is a tight fit except loans instead of hotel stays. One single fraud service that all of affirm and sub brands can talk to. The interview was very much “we have this problem, how have you done it before?” And then revealing that the problem was addressed last year so I’m not consulting for free. I asked and a lot of affirm after sr roles for external hires are exact fit targeted candidates. Before group and lead they interview for generalists
