Agile: Sprint/Scrum details for your team

What is the sprint duration for your team? How do you split it between Dev and Test? How much time for UAT? Deployment at the end of every sprint? What's the test strategy typically like? Exploratory or detailed test cases? I'll start.. 2 weeks sprint, 5 days dev, 3 days test, 2 days uat and deployment, Yes deployment at the end of sprint, hybrid testing Looking to improve my current process and want to see how others are doing it.

Why exactly?

I work on the outlook web team. Too much process just hinders creativity. Our team has informal stand ups twice a week and we trust people to do the right thing. Been working pretty well here.

Give me some way to compose without having those silly popouts and I will believe in your "creativity" :)

Also, we have client deployments multiple times a day and service deployments everyday, so we move features at their own pace

Every religion is great, if you and everyone around you believe in it. Once you do that, you can attribute all your success to the religion and blame all your failure to the gaps in your interpretation of the one true meaning.

Or become enlightened and just do your thing. I left my old team coz there was way too much process. The team tried to follow scrum "by the book"

How long were your sprint planning meetings?
