Airbnb Rent Due Before Internship Payday

So as title says, I'm renting an Airbnb in SF for my internship (not at Comcast, public medium-sized tech co) and the payment is due on the 21st. The HR people have stated they are still figuring out putting us on the payroll, and are telling us they will pay us around the 30th, which is later than us interns thought it would be. No cash to cover it, and do not have a credit card that can handle the Airbnb rent (and you can't split payments). I have a couple of ideas particular to my financial situation to get through that range from bad to worse, anyone have experience with this type of issue? Could I even go to the Airbnb HQ to talk to a real person? TC: ๐Ÿฅœ #airbnb #intern #sanfrancisco

See if you can get an unsecured personal loan from your bank. The interest isn't the worst, and you can just pay it down when you're good.

Open a credit card online. Some cards, like AMEX or apple card, can provide you the virtual credit card number immediately, so you can use to pay online expense.

Just be aware that interest starts immediately on most cards for cash advances (including cash-equivalent purchases like gift cards), not after you carry a balance. Also, credit card interest is yuge.

Talk to your manager and/or HR. Perhaps the accounting team will have a solution.
