Airbnb revenue slow down coming in Q3 ?
Due to Covid people spent lot of time in Airbnbs. If omicron puts an end to Covid, people will spend money on other things and activities. Will Airbnb lose out post spring/summer Thoughts on how Airbnb will grow ?
By orher things and activities, do you mean like traveling?
International will pick up if Covid ends
By other things I meant, if people travel domestically then they stay longer. My assumption here is people have a certain budget for a trip. For domestic since travel costs is basically gas cost people spend more on Airbnbs. Once people start traveling further especially international then some money is gone for flights and people will either stay fewer days or in cheaper places. Also long stays/living on Airbnb by domestic users seems high now. Will this continue? I just sense if there is a double whammy coming at Airbnb - urban and international travel where users prefer cheaper/hotels/less days and as offices open less people living on Airbnb Thinking from investing angle as many growth stocks have been hit 50-80%. If Airbnb goes below 100$ it’s a good buy. Doubt if it has the wheels to go above $200 in 2022
Wondered this myself. Suspect airbnbs in foreign travel destinations will fair well. With domestic hurting a bit.
