I graduated from a top CS school and have been working for a few months now and my initial offer was $100k base + $84k RSU / 4 years. Company has thankfully been doing well so stocks are now at $140k. I know the big 4 have way higher comp, but was wondering how this fares with typical tech companies in the Bay Area.
How much is rent in Pleasanton ?
It’s like $2k for a 2bd/2ba but I’m actually living in SF
My personal advice would be don’t think too much about being at par. You are young, work hard, learn stuff and plan to switch for more lucrative offers once you have finished 2 years at Veeva.
Thank you for the advice, I’m definitely planning on making the most out of my time here. Was curious cause I overheard a manager saying that we were undercomped
