Could u share the reason (if u r comfortable)?
1. Amazon feels like a business rather than a tech company so they don't really value you as an engineer. For example Facebook has 20% time where you can work on any kind of project you'd like, there's nothing similar at Amazon. 2. I was bait and switched in terms of the org. I signed up to work for a better org and was assigned to my current lower visibility org at the last minute by my recruiter. In my experience transferring groups here is kinda tricky since you can get PIPed if your manager finds out.

I recently interviewed at Amazon, it felt pretty good. There was clear direction and very organized. When I compare Amzn with two more popular companies, namely Google and FB. I don’t feel very positive about FB, it is a two product company, FB and Instagram. Nobody use FB anymore except 50+ old people. What I feel about engineers at FB, they do not have much option, and it is not evolving fast enough. G is good wlb and name. One of my close friend joined, his projects 3 times cancelled in little more than 1 year duration. He does not like his current project. Amzn seems like better in these aspects. Probably you work on project that is real product even if it is small for the company, large for the person is a good thing. U And L are taxi company. I recently talk with D, I did not feel any sophistication. Why you don’t like Amazon?
