Amazon - On focus, what to do?

I was suppose to get pivot doc on Monday, but my manager keeps delaying my focus. I lied to him and told him I got an external offer to see if he’ll play the Games Of Amazon (GoA). Initially, I thought he was trying to help me, at least based on what he was saying. E.g. “focus on interviewing, it’s already over” (while still asking me to work on tasks…). But it seems like he’s playing the game and I’m playing it better than him. I have about 5 interviews with different companies planned and he’ll keep delaying the focus so I leave without severance lmao. You can’t get me b*tch. I’ll milk the company until it’s dry and will probably keep working with Amazon until they pip me, even when I get another offer. What people say here is true: Never trust your manager. They all act like they’re on your side, but they’ll backstab you when they see fit. For those in this situation, one tip, don’t work, don’t join standups or sprint planning or any meeting where you need to participate, miss pages when oncall and take sick day on oncall handoff so you can focus on leetcode and interviewing (just make sure to be online, they won’t fire you). This company is real dog sh*t, very happy to F them over. Also don’t be sorry for my teammates, they were jerks anyways and as the good person that I am, I warned them about it. Milk the sh*t out of this company and don’t be ashamed, especially since they treat us like dogs. 🖕🫵 Amazon TC: 190k

Same boat. Is there an option of taking the severance but without start/doing Focus, or one has to go through focus to wait for the option of severance or pip?
