Hi folks, Have an offer from this team. I am still waiting on the recruiter for details about the package, but I was wondering if anyone has input on how this team/org is in terms of growth, wlb, etc. What kind of comp package should I be expecting (L5 position)? I read that AWS Networking wlb is extremely bad. Are their comp packages typically higher than other counterparts to reflect the extra work? Blind tax: 210k #engineering #software #cloud
You need to discount your TC by working hours, Iโd imagine your weekly working hours to be over 60 if not higher
Good luck lmao
TC is same across all teams. Dave Brown who heads EC2 is one of the best VPs at Amazon. His orgs are great!
Follow up question to crowd source this a bit, since L5 is so wide compared to microsoft's leveling, is there a disparity in comp for people that are at microsoft's senior level vs the start of L5 since it doesn't take that much yoe to make it to the start of L5
