Just got this offer and trying to feel it out - seems like I have room to wiggle for RSU or Sign-On based on conversations with the recruiter. Would be moving from a very low cost of living area so I am trying to make sure I get the best offer I can get. Recruiter said he maxed out for me - but I am not sure. Base = 160k (Salary cap) Sign on = 124k / 2yrs (70k yr 1 / 54k yr 2) Stock = 96 Shares (96 * ($1,790)) = $171k (4 years) Tc 1st year: 160 + 70 + 0.05*171 ~ 238k 2nd year: 160 + 54 + 0.15*171 ~ 240k 3rd year: 160 + 0.40*171 ~ 228k 4th year: 160 + 0.40+171 ~ 228k Seattle/Bellevue YOE: 6 Thoughts?
Seems to be in Seattle ballpark or close at least.
Seems low for L6. But yeah, this is Amazon 🤷🏼♂️
Bump - think I’m going to counter offer
did you do it? What was your final offer?
I declined it. 270k TC

You’re the man! Or woman! How would you rate this offer?
I don't know how UX engineers stack up but for Seattle(assuming) I think this is probably less than standard right now. For 6 yoe it probably falls in the 235-260k bucket but since they are offering you L6 you should be in a better band. Looks like this is the starting band for L6. Again this is from a swe perspective.
