I am getting Piped in June. I have my stocks vesting in mid July. I also have a lot of vacation and personal leaves accrued which my manager isn't allowing me to take now. Any idea, whether I will still get my stocks included in severance? What about the leaves, what is the best way to make use of it? #pip #amazon
Escalate to HR use your leave due to COVID-19. Look for another job in the meantime.
How would you go about this? You can’t just say “I want to take leave because of corona”
Mental strain and stress due to WFH and not having meaningful face to face time to express and showcase your work. This puts you in a unsuccessful path to resolve PIP situation. You will decompress and then start fresh
Can’t you make up something like you are sick or family emergency and take leaves till your stocks vest?. Also even if you get popped, I would say wait till your stocks best and then take the severance and leave. By then make sure you have a job ready.
2 years is 15%...I mean how much is that really as compared to your current pay/sev you’d get?
