Amazon Sr. PM tech - 2nd tech round

Hello everyone, I recently interviewed at Amazon for a Sr. PM-T role. First was a simple chat with recruiter, then he setup an interview with the Hiring manager. Next round was a 1 hr technical phone interview which was heavily leadership principle based. Two days later, recruiter reached out saying that the manager enjoyed the tech round and gave great feedback so we want to conduct another tech phone interview. I am NJ pretty confused so i asked the recruiter why is there another tech interview because i was told next would be onsite. He says, that the interviewer could not cover all leadership principles in the last round so we want to have another 1 hr long tech round with a different interviewer. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what does this even mean.
