This poll is for Blinders (IC’s not managers) who have or are currently working at Amazon. Specifically those who have worked at Amazon for four years or longer with ten years of general tech industry experience. Is Amazon a good place (TC, work, WLB, etc.) to work for experienced (10 yoe, L5 and above as an IC) workers in the tech industry? Also, post in the comments what Amazon department (AWS, Retail, Payments, etc.) you work or worked in as an Amazonian, and any insight you have on the topic. 👍 #amazon #amazonbenefits #amazonaws #tech #offer

You should rephrase the question as "Is Amazon that bad?" People ask it every week on Blind.
I know Amazon is not “bad.” Amazon is preeminent—they do stuff NO one else does. That is a fact. Shit, everyone on Blind is using Amazon (Whole Foods, AWS or Prime—or all three), lol. I want to know from seasoned IC’s if Amazon is worth the trouble. All companies are a “shitshow” to some degree. I want to know the 411 from folks who “know the deal.”
