Smh he forgot “frugality”

Amazon LUX1E Feb 26, 2021

Frupid on this one. His manager is an asshole.

Argo AI fentik Feb 26, 2021

Also he sent a cartoon dick pic to his assistant??

Adobe hbxs436 Feb 26, 2021

Yeah I feel like this article buried the lede... "fired for upgrading a flight but also for a bunch of other things including sending a cartoon dick pic, but mostly because of the flight thing..."

Google punny. Feb 26, 2021

lolololol 😂😂

Amazon ghhzhshd Feb 26, 2021

One thing I like about this is he was treated just like a delivery worker. No extra perks. Like it!

Amazon laked Feb 26, 2021

Seems the flight was the smallest of his infractions..

VMware cohQ50 Feb 26, 2021

Fake news. He stole company funds to upgrade.

Amazon laked Feb 26, 2021

And sent his assistant dick cartoons, called someone a c*nt, made his assistant do his personal errands, and the upgrade was after being told no.

Microsoft simplexity Feb 26, 2021

Loool well deserved I’d say based on all other allegations

Paytm azjb06 Feb 26, 2021

Article hits it right. Dude should have checked the flight policy before joining, and, if needed so much, should've just paid out of own pocket, and later try to get ot reimbursed, rather than using a fucking company card. Idiot, well deserved

Apple tbdoclenha Feb 27, 2021

Lol what a stupid headline. He made inappropriate statements in the office including sending a lude cartoon to his assistant and it seems like other issues like having his assistant run personal errands and his assistant lodged a complaint. Buried that in the article to have a headline about travel policy. Travel policy violation was probably just the icing on the "You're fired" cake. Also, apparently he was specifically denied an exemption repeatedly. It's not like it was an accident or he just did it without asking. If you were his boss, how pissed would you be to hear the guy ignored your direct instruction? I'm not gonna pass judgment on his claimed back problems, but if he was really that desperate he could've paid out of pocket. It's an expensive upgrade and a shitty situation but I'm sure he's making a decent chunk in that executive position and could've tried to get reimbursed later. Also shoulda checked policy before joining.

When you interview amazon, take uber pool and then expense it. It may be noted as a plus in your interview score.
