I am currently an L4 and my manager is helping with preparing docs for my promo in Q2. I got exceeds expectations in my reviews but got no comp change maybe due to the new Amazon policy this year. No, you’re actually probably well situated for a bump after promo. If you get promo in Q3 is best because of annual comp timing for next year.
What area are you based in? My TCT for 2025 is $250k and I still received a 1.8% raise as an L4 with exceeds.
My friend moved to L5 and got a small base increase only due to the stock going up.
No it will not, you’ll be brought up to whatever the bottom of the L5 band is for your job family. It’s a shitty practice to mark someone as exceeds but give them no raise. Keep that in mind.
