Apple Engineering Program Manager Salary
I gave my interview for a EPM role recently and recruiter called me back to ask for my salary expectation. I did not give him a magic number and told I will wait for the first offer from the team based on what they value me at and then take it from there. Recruiter suggested 180-200TC and said he will get back to me. (Does that sound right?) Does this mean I will get an offer from Apple ? What can I expect back in the first offer ? And will there be more for negotiation? Current TC : 110k - (in Arizona) YOE : 4 #tech #salarynegotiation #apple #applesalary
Recruiters are master of this game. No matter you give them a number or not. They would know what will get you here. Unless you have a way to walk out if they don’t match your expectations, be prepared to be presented with the lowest possible number (irrespective of your expectations)

yes 180-200 sounds about right. can get a bit more with sign on and annual bonus.

I interviewed at Apple and discussed salary but didn’t get an offer after virtual onsite. All teams handle this process differently so you may drive yourself crazy speculating.

I got no feedback except it was a tough decision...🙄
