Move on. It’s been 3 weeks.
WTF, do they really do 10 rounds?
Yep. For an on-site, expect 30min or 45min interviews back to back from 9 to 5. I know I interviewed 3 times. You can get a coffee or bathroom break. And a lunch. On the house.
Schlumberger pays < 100k? I am surprised!
Apple recruiters are known for ghosting...I was contacted right before a vacation....said I would get back to them after vacation. I followed up with recruiter when I was back in town, no response/reply. Apple Recruiters are just as snobby as apple itself.
Apple recruiters and hiring managers do this ALLLLL the time. Most ppl I know it took them months to get a job. So unprofessional
They are buying time and interviewing other candidates. You are at the bottom of the list ATM.
Not necessarily. Between my interviews and hiring, 3 months passed. Now that I work here, it’s one particular manager that will contemplate for months before making a decision. We lose so many candidates because of this.
This recruiter is shit. Our teams recruiter always sends rejection email
Yup, similar experience with me. Got a verbal offer and then radio silence, I had competing offers and I followed up mentioning that I need an answer, after a couple of days of more silence called up the recruiter and she said sorry and no written offer.
May I ask did she give you a reason about why they rescind your verbal offer? Can you let me know how long did you wait between the verbal offer and the rejection? Thank you!
I wish we had better recruiters - mine can’t source candidates AT ALL. Beginning to think we should start taking intern recruiters from tech schools to show these veterans how to get shit done
Poor kid. Welcome to Bay Area.
