Edit: i have updated resume and attached below alongside the old one Hey, I am looking for a resume review. I am applying for role# 200363341 at Apple (linked below). I have bugged some friends for reviews but they are all software engr. so their help can be a bit limited. Anyone in the field mind telling me how it looks/any areas I could improve/etc? Position: https://jobs.apple.com/en-us/details/200363341/product-design-engineer-battery-systems-engineering-spg #engineer #hardware #apple #productdesign
Too much empty space not enough details on what you did exactly…
Seems to be the universal feedback! I'll play around with changing up the spacing and making the proper areas stand out a more so there is less hunting
I just attached an updated revision of my resume. Any chance you would mind taking a peak at it?
eye-catching is cool, too much empty space, my eyes need to be guided linearly and not scattered all over the place, I only have 15 seconds to look at your resume and then proceed to 50 more, can you add a “TLDR section” not literally ofcourse
your xp seems good, good luck!

I don’t know anything about the content bc it’s not my field, but I think your resume is a little distracting/busy. I would choose a really simplistic single column template. Then use bold/italics as applicable. Maybe some icons for phone/email/linkedin at most.
Definitely fair. My previous resume was a much simpler format but it wasn't exactly getting a ton of hits (applying at peak covid hiring freeze tbf), so I decided to assively change it up. Tbh im still massively undecided on the formate being excellent or horrible (cause there is no inbetween here)
Tbh I legit realy want this position and I'm not sure if unconventional but eye-catching or conventional and focused gives me a better chance at all. I've got a recommendation but that only gets us so far
