Sorry if that's been asked many times before but, I'm evaluating an Apple ICT4 offer right now and the recruiter has mentioned yearly bonuses of 12% of base + 75K RSU (vesting in 4 years). The numbers look fine to me but I just wanted to learn that, since these bonuses are based on performance, what's the probability of actually getting these numbers? How much would I get if I'm not a top performer? Is that in the discretion of the manager? Bonuses at Apple are not based on performance directly. They are whatever your manager wants to give you. There is no requirement that they be correlated to your performance scores.
What do you mean? People get money without performing? How would a manager decide how much to give an individual? Oh yea, you flip a coin and decide someone’s bonus and RSU. I expected a little more common sense from someone who works at Fb.
