Hey! So I worked at apple for a total of 3 weeks. I came onboard and was told during the interview process by my future manager that because I was in a different time zone than my entire team, it would be fine if I didn’t come into the office. Fast forward to my second week and he told me it was no longer possible and that I would have to come into the office so I quit lol. Should I put this on my resume or just keep it off? Thanks!! Pros: I can say I was hired by Apple Cons: I stayed for a few weeks(even though I was given wrong information about the actual position) UPDATES: Don’t wanna answer everyone individually, but i turned down an offer from Plaid when I accepted Apple, they still hadn’t filled the position when I decided to quit apple and they took me Tc: 180 YoE: 2
I would leave it off unless you want to tell this story at every interview moving forward
I wouldn't lol. Not a positive experience anyway plus you will have alot explanations need to be done to every interviewer -.-
Should probably just leave it off, but it’s a great story if they ask about any gaps you’ve had. 😂 Also, sincerely, thank you for “voting with your feet”. I’m really hoping management changes course before I have to do the same…. Every person who walks away helps the cause.
Which org is that ? That’s crazy
I agree with Meta, telling this story during interviews will help you leave impression on interviewers
bad impression
@expedia depends on the company. If it's a remote first company they'll probably think it's funny and understand.
Why didn’t you wait to get fired while interviewing? You left months of salary and resume exp on the table. Not like they’ll ever hire you again anyway
Brave. 😂
I definitely wouldn't. The people saying otherwise are delusional
Leave it off
Yeah put it on there, good story for laughs
