I work on Hardware at Microsoft and would love to work for Apple one day. However looks like majority of their openings say being on site is required. Can anyone in Apple tell me how strict they are with this?
They eased up after covid from 5 to 3 but yeah otherwise strict. I had a phone interview and recruiter made it clear it was hard req. My friend commutes 3x week to HQ
It's mandatory. 3 strike rule
What do you mean strike rule? is attendance taken? How do they enforce
I got a call 2 weeks ago from my manager to return to work. It sucks. He said I haven't been to work for 10 straight weeks and he has to explain this to his boss. So they know my attendance
3x required, with WFH days from time to time as needed (sick kid, etc). Also there is a 4 wk/year remote work option, that you can use in 1 wk increments
Very, very strict now, all people in Apple HR are rooting for fat bonuses by tracking evaders!!
How are they enforcing and keeping track
