Engineering was today, over the rest of this week they will be laying off by domain (product one day, content and design the next etc. not sure the order but you get the idea) Was laid off. 1.5 YOE. Engineering. Looking for referrals.

This is a horrible way to do layoffs. Those companies try to innovate on how to do layoffs. They should rather innovate elsewhere.
This is F crazy, I turned down an offer from them just the other week. Hypothetically how would that have worked if I had accepted, last in and first out? …and my thoughts to everyone who is impacted, sucks.

Yes they are bloated with lot of contractors who were converted over to FT and they lost lot of talent product leadership to other fintech companies. At this point they just can’t be another growth story and need to transition to another financial company which means cuts to focus on EPS and P/E.
