Are there decent roles for Cybersecurity in Tesla or other automotives?

#auto #cybersecurity #tesla I've looked through Tesla's job listings, and I couldn't really find much related to cybersecurity that fits with what I am doing currently. What kind of roles are there in Tesla (or other automotive companies) in regards to dealing with UNECE r155, ISO 21434, ASPICE, etc? == My experience == I'm currently working at LG (in korea) for automotive field as a cybersecurity engineer, but I've been promoted to being in a cybersecurity architect role, so I'm not really doing any coding anymore for work. To compensate, I keep myself up to date by studying in my own time on weekends (for example, I'm competing in an in-house system-hacking CTF competition) I design overall cybersecurity architecture based on the project specs, and I am the cybersecurity expert when responding to OEMs relating to the cybersecurity features. I deal with UNECE r155, ISO 21434, ASPICE, etc. I do TARA (threat analysis and risk assessment) and risk reduction work for an entire project (I think some companies have each engineers contribute, but in LG we have the architects do the entire TARA by interviewing engineers). (This does mean I'm spending most of my time attending meetings and writing documents, however. These days I feel more like a tech lawyer than an engineer) I have 5 YOE as a SWE and then currently 6 months experience in LG doing cybersecurity in automotive. Automotive is LG's biggest focus right now https://www.lg.com/global/mobility Previously, I worked at Cisco Meraki for 3 years in San Francisco on a security network appliance called MX. And worked about 1.5 years at a cybersecurity company in korea working on solutions for disk-encryption and key management.
