Am new to blind - trying to move into a non-tech role focused on manufacturing or automotive industry in US. Some of the big names such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Salesforce do advertise roles in strategy, business development, industry advisor etc for the manufacturing or automotive space and even list knowledge of the industry as a plus. Any referrals or pointers from anyone here would be helpful to get past the ATS and atleast get to a call to discuss. YoE: 15+ #tech #non-tech #manufacturing #automotive #strategy #business development # industry advisor #msft #aws #salesforce #google
Thanks for the question. Roles are categorized as industry advisor, strategy manager/director, business development manager for these companies serving the manufacturing, automotive industry. Experience is spread over sales and marketing, business development, supply chain and strategy in metals and mining, industrial manufacturing, automotive sectors.
Saying non-tech role is absolutely meaningless. Do you want to be an accountant? A salesman? Corporate lawyer? Work in the mail room? Customer service hotline? Factory line worker?
Thanks for the feedback. Maybe should have made the post clearer. Roles are categorized as industry advisor, strategy manager/director, business development manager for these companies serving the manufacturing, automotive industry
