Hi community, with uncertainty all around, wanted to get a pulse check to see how much allocation of our portfolio is being dedicated to BTC, looking forward to a possible asymmetric payout on the horizon (The poll is absolute instead of a percentage since it's a scarce asset). It has a proven network effect of over a decade and has a substantial lead in market capitalization compared to the competitions. Even though it's not a mature medium of exchange, it currently appears to be a good hedge as a store of value. Please add relevant thoughts if any. #personalfinance #investments
The fact that you are using absolute numbers to poll on portfolio allocation speaks volumes
Every cool kid has one BTC.
Not your key not your bitcoin 🧐
Sure. Keys in cold storage.
The poll is useless because it's in absolute value (volatile to boot) and not in percentage allocation. One guy could have 1 BTC and 100% allocation, Jeff Bezos could have a million BTC and 50 bps allocation. I target 5% of my portfolio in cryptocurrency. Have 5.71% currently.
It depends on how much money you like to burn

Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
Had 1.x btc.. sold last week. Avoid crypto by all means.
Why didn't you even want to hold on to one, given that another stimulus that has all the potential to inflate things further and add more debt is coming up.
Held for quite long time... still stuck with few other sh!t coins... cause they’re still way down comparing to the cost of acquisition ... I wish I had invested those in TSLA or AAPL or AMZN instead or crypto.. I could be 3-10x over this period.
