I think I’m about to get an offer at Spotify to work remotely. I have another offer so I want to compare. Can anyone share specifics on the benefits there? I heard something about 6 mos paternity leave and some kind meal reimbursement to name a couple outside the standard. Any details? Thanks!
How was interview OP?
@what role and yoe?
6 month paternity leave. If you’re in the U.S. you get a debit card that you can use to buy food. Though I don’t know how much gets loaded per day anymore. Used to be $15. Of course you get a free Spotify account and access to an internal build with features not yet live.
6mo paternity. 25 pto I think? $300/mo food spend (this may have been recently reduced but not my much can’t remember) free healthcare including parent planning. It’s pretty standard big tech tbh
23 pto, 10 carryover. Reduced $15 each time you eat at Spotify cafeteria but most except nyc has closed. Also free health insurance. Standard tech.
$60k fertility benefit is actually great and covers a lot of different stuff. Health insurance coverage is way better than other companies I and my partner have worked before. Lots of fun trips but those are canceled mostly.
Sorry to burst your bubble.. Truly sorry OP but are you following the spotify posts on blind. Looks like a layoff is coming tomorrow at which point your position might be frozen or cancelled. Sorry to be bearer of bad news. But i would rather you be sad today to continue interviewing better tomorrow 🙃
